The Cantor ministry leads the sung prayers of Sunday’s Masses, Weddings, Funerals and Holy Days celebrations. Most cantors have studied music in college and are familiar with leading song for an assembly. Cultivating new cantors at St. John the Evangelist Parish is an ongoing tradition.
