All Catholic students in public, private and parochial schools grades 8-12 are invited to participate in the  2017/18 Knights of Columbus Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest. Students are encouraged to write a  500-750 word essay on the theme of “The Importance of Religious Freedom”. The contest will be open to  students in the Chelmsford Catholic Collaborative, St Anne/ St Catherine Collaborative, Notre Dame Academy, and children and grandchildren of council members. Essays will be judged in November. First place winners at each grade level will receive a monetary award, and their essays will be submitted to the K of C State Council for judging and awards from the State Council. Participants are required to furnish a written parental consent form.
